Evening Choir Rehearsals
Our evening choir is simply about having fun through making wonderful music , building new friendships and giving everyone the opportunity to sing together. Melody Makers Choir has a modern approach to choral singing by learning current pop songs from Billy Eilish and Coldplay, to folk and contemporary music using a combination of original arrangements and professional choral publications accompanied by piano and A Cappella.
There are no auditions or requirements.
Members learn by reading music, listening to recordings of each voice part and by learning during rehearsals. You don’t need to read music, but we do follow scores during rehearsals. It is essential that you love singing and have a good sense of pitch and rhythm. There are varied regular performance opportunities, performing at festivals, local events and further afield.

Wednesday – 7:45-9:30pm – Rehearsal. We often have a 15 minute break half way through to enjoy a drink at our non-profit ‘Melody Makers Cafe/Bar’!
Membership
£84 per term – this includes 11 evening rehearsals, gigs and a personalised log in to the ‘Master Makers’ section where you have access to MP3s, notation and/or lyric sheets. Fees are to be paid in advance each term. Get in touch to book a FREE taster rehearsal.
